How can I consolidate my student loans?
Contact the lender directly to consider your options for consolidation
of student loans with that lender. Federal law mandates that a borrower whose
loans are all held by the same lender must consolidate with that lender.
Borrowers whose loans are held by more than a single lender are free to
consolidate with any of the lenders that participate in the federal student
loan consolidation program. In most cases, you can only consolidate your loans
once and your repayment terms may be affected. Do your research -- and be
careful to select the option that's best for you! (Return

You may be eligible to postpone your loan payments with an in-school
deferment if you are attending an eligble school at least half-time. We would
encourage you to contact your lender directly to verify their deferment policy.
