Components of an Award
|

|
|
A need-based Financial Assistance Award commonly contains
three types of financial assistance: Scholarships and Grants, a Work-Study job
and Student Loans.
Scholarships and Grants do not require repayments, and are
provided by a variety of sources. Work-Study opportunities and student loans
are sometimes referred to as "Student Self-Help" - meaning that these are ways
that you can contribute to your education while you are in school.
