TuitionPay, a Monthly Payment Plan

The TuitionPay Monthly Plan allows students and their families to spread all or part of a single academic year's expenses over nine or 10 equal monthly payments. This payment plan can be combined with any of the low-interest financing options. There is an annual $65 enrollment fee for TuitionPay that includes tuition protection insurance coverage.

Manageable

Because educational expenses can be more manageable with monthly payments, TuitionPay Monthly Plan allows you to meet all, or part, of the first academic year's expenses in nine or 10 equal monthly payments (depending upon your enrollment date) during the period from June 1 to March 1. When you re-enroll for the second year, you may choose to extend your plan to 12 smaller monthly payments.

Flexible

Since costs or financial assistance may change, this plan is completely flexible. Simply estimate your monthly payment and enroll today. As costs and financial assistance are finalized, you may increase or decrease your payment by notifying our partner, Sallie Mae, which manages the TuitionPay Monthly Plan for Washington University. You can withdraw from this plan at any time. For payment flexibility you may send a check monthly or, as a free service, you can have each month's payment automatically deducted from your checking or savings account. To do so, fill out the appropriate section on the application.

Affordable

The plan is provided at an affordable, low cost. You pay a nonrefundable $65 enrollment fee once each academic year to cover administrative costs plus tuition protection insurance premiums for the secure handling of your payments. There are no interest payments or other charges; however, past due accounts will be assessed a late fee.

Tuition Protection Coverage

Tuition Protection Coverage is provided at no additional cost. This insurance guarantees payment of the unpaid balance for the year in question, in the event of the death of the insured. For more information, call Sallie Mae at (888) 643-0040.

Easy to Enroll

To enroll in TuitionPay, you can apply online, call Sallie Mae at (888) 643-0040 to enroll by phone, or download the enrollment application (in PDF format) and mail to:

Application deadlines:
The deadlines for submitting Fall 2008 TuitionPay Plan applications are: June 1 for participants selecting the 10-month payment plan and July 1 for participants selecting the nine-month payment plan. If you are enrolling for a single semester or miss the enrollment deadline, please contact Sallie Mae at (888) 643-0040 for other options.
